For installation the window sills of the company “Vitrage Plast” it doesn’t need any special skills. To saw off the the needed length of the window sill you can use a usual saw or an electrofret saw.

To avoid scratches on the surface in the place of sawing it is needed to saw accurately and without big pressure on the window sill. While installation the top side of the window sill is protected by firm protective film “Vitrage Plast”.

After the ends of the window sill are sawed off they should be closed by decorative caps, which you can buy in our company. The caps should be chosen on the length depending the place of installation and the manner of fixing.

The end faces caps for the window sills are made of universal length (480 mm or 600 mm) with two noses. Our managers will help you to choose the color and the length of the cap. If the place of installation is changed the length of the cap can be easily reduced by yourself, having cut off the end by usual scissors.

The bottom plane of the window sill has special grooves, which serve to make the installation easier and to prove the fixing of the window sill in the window block.

The window sills “Vitrage Plast” can be fixed by glue to horizontal surface of the window block, they can be laid on cement and to be fixed mechanically by screws using metal profile (corner), that lets to install them in buildings of any purpose with any type of outside walls.

After the window sill is installed, it is necessary to delete protective film from the surface.
